PrivacyConnect is coming to Belfast for an exclusive event crafted to spark conversation and create connections. Hosted at A&L Goodbody's office on Wednesday 24th April by Chapter Chair, Aisling Byrne alongside guest speakers, yet to be announced.  Join fellow Privacy leaders in presentations and open discussions on AI and its impact on Employment Law, as well as an overview of the proposed UK approach to AI and the EU AI Act.

The EU AI Act will be the first standalone piece of legislation worldwide regulating the use of AI and will form a key consideration in AI governance programmes. This AI Act will have a significant impact on many organisations, with failure to comply potentially leading to fines of up to 7% of annual worldwide turnover.  In contrast, the UK is taking a different approach and so we will cover what businesses, HR and privacy teams must understand and consider in ensuring AI compliance in the employment law arena.
