AIConnect: GDPR compliance in an AI era

Date:

19 September 2024
15:00 – 19:30 CET

Venue:

Crowne Plaza Utrecht - Central Station
Catharijne Esplanade 13,
Utrecht, 3511WK, Netherlands

We hear from many organizations that they're faced with contradicting uses of data for Privacy and AI purposes; data minimisation, automated decision making, handling data subject requests, to name a few.

Join this exclusive event for an analysis of AI governance frameworks, discussing how processes and policies can keep pace with the rapid development of AI use cases. We're organizing this gathering of your peers to enable collaboration, provide the space to share practical tips, and learn how others are preparing to tackle upcoming legislation.

During this networking afternoon, we invite you to be an active participant during small group discussions with Privacy, Compliance, Data and AI leaders.

We'll cover an array of key challenges, including:

  • Contracting: what privacy questions do you need to ask if you contract with an AI provider? DSARs: how do you handle access requests if data is in AI systems?

  • Deletion: how do you handle deletion requests? Can you delete personal data once it is in an AI system?

  • Legal basis: What legal bases are available?

  • Privacy framework/controls: Do the current frameworks and controls still work? Do you need to change them and if so how?

  • How is your organisation fulfilling the transparency requirement under the GDPR for the use of personal data in AI systems?

  • How does your organisation incorporate AI in its internal privacy and cybersecurity training? What's the role of the Privacy office in AI governance?

  • What would you include in your internal data protection policy in respect of AI systems using personal data?
